On the First Sunday of the month, it is an added treat day as we have omelets, cinnamon, and raisin toast, along with seasonal surprises. This is only on the first Sunday of each month.


Come and join us for breakfast on Sunday. When your family is in for the weekend, have a club get-together, special event, or have a class reunion... Bring them down and enjoy breakfast at the Post on Sunday mornings.



FRIDAY BINGO


EVERY FRIDAY IS BINGO NIGHT AT THE POST, DOORS OPEN AT 3:30 P.M.

Help is need on this evening. If you could even do one Friday a month it would be very helpful.

All Proceeds are going toward the purchase of a Track Chair for a disabled veteran.


$70 per person and $280 per team of four. This includes 18 holes, carts, a steak dinner, and more.


The event is limited to the first 36 teams so please RSVP and/or have your entry fees in by JUNE 4th.


The day of registration starts at 8:00 a.m.

9:00 a.m. SHOTGUN START 


Paying  1st place - plus 3 other teams by draw so everyone has a chance to win!

McGOWAN-JOHNSON AMERICAN LEGION POST 68

 MEETING NOTICE


The Sons of the American Legion, & Auxiliary will be holding their meeting on the third Thursday of each month. The meetings begin at 7:30 pm. with the S.A.L. will hold their meetings in the room downstairs. The Auxiliary will hold their meeting upstairs. This is in hope we can build both groups to better memberships. Those wanting to join either of these groups require a copy of the family veteran's DD214 form. Yearly Dues are currently as follows; American Legion $55, S.A.L. $`10, and the Auxiliary $18. All current Auxiliary and S.A.L. member are welcomed back and those wishing to join are welcome to come.

POST HALL RENTAL

The Legion hall is available FOR RENTAL to members and the public the hall and will hold up to 151 people. Pricing varies with the number of people and the usage time needed. Please contact STEVE HADDAD at (269) 330-3647 for information, pricing, and availability. 


Consider the Paw Paw Legion Hall for reunions, graduations parties, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, birthday parties, baby showers… etc. Let your friends and neighbors know the Post Hall is open to the public for usage.


The Post Hall will support 151 people.


S.A.L. Members

All 2019 membership cards have been sent out; the membership has been pre-paid by the club and asked that you send in your 2019 membership dues of $10 if you have not yet done so.

We only have 12 meetings a year and our next S.A.L. meeting is on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm downstairs.

Dues are now $55 for the year as the National and Department have increased their dues. Dues cover the year from June to May. If you have not yet paid this year's dues please submit your dues now.
