2023-24

TALONS OUT HONOR FLIGHT

Congratulations to George Guritz on his trip to Washington D.C. on the Talons Honor Flight. World War II veterans have priority on flights and if room Korean Veterans can go.

The trip is FREE for the Veterans but costs the Guardian $500. If you would like to DONATE to our Talons Flight Guardian Fund you may send it to the above Post 68 address"ATTN: Talons Flight Guardian Fund".  In the MEMO area on your check be sure to enter Talons, Flight Guardian Fund.   Any donation toward this fund is very helpful.

Need help in signing up for a Talon Flight contact Bob Adams. Information required for application is the nearest relative, contact person for emergencies, a list of medications, and a copy of discharge. You can also have a family member go as a guardian. A guardian is a person that will care for you for the day. A wheelchair will be provided if it is necessary. 

A E D Fund Raiser

We have a drive on to raise funds to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (A.E.D.) for the Post Hall. These items aren't cheap so we are asking for your help of a donation of any size. This may save a life and wouldn't you feel great knowing you help purchased one for the Post Hall.

​We are as of December 10 over the $600 mark toward our purchase of a A.E.D. We like to thank those who have supported us so far in this task and goal for a A.E.D. for the hall. We still have a long way to go to reach a purchase price of $1500.

GRAPE & WINE PARADE

The parade will be at 1 p.m.

CHRISTMAS PARADE 2019

The Paw Paw Christmas Parade will be at 10 a.m., starting at Veterans Park. Meet at the post no later than 9:30. We will leave from there to go to the start of the parade. The Parade ends at the fire hall.

December 21

Post 68 Christmas Party

The annual Christmas party will be held at 6:30 p.m. It is open to all members of the Legion Post 68 (Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion) and Blue Star Mothers.

2024 GOLF EVENT

JUNE 8, 2024

Golf Outing 
(OPEN TO PUBLIC)
"ALL GAVE SOME, SOME GAVE ALL"

The annual golf outing is on Saturday, June 13 at  Cheshire Hills Golf Course on 102nd Avenue, Allegan, MI.

All Profits for this event will go toward the purchase of a Track Chair for a disabled veteran.

The cost is $65 per person and $260 per team of four. This includes 18 holes, carts, a steak dinner, and more.
The event is limited to the first 36 teams so please RSVP and/or have your entry fees in by JUNE 2nd.
Day of event registration starts at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. SHOTGUN START.

Paying  1st place - plus 3 other teams by draw so everyone has a chance to win!
